Flowers for Antonio will look back on the life and oeuvre of late Madrilenian musician and composer[展开全部]
Flowers for Antonio will look back on the life and oeuvre of late Madrilenian musician and composer Antonio Flores (1961-1995) from the point of view of his daughter, actress Alba Flores, who is a familiar face in popular series such as Locked Up, Holy Family, Romancero, Queer You Are and Money Heist, among others. She has also appeared in films like last year’s Love and Revolution.
According to the brains behind it, the film will take us on a journey through memory and through the present, via unseen material (home videos, photos, recordings, drawings, archival images and his own music), enabling us to gain a fully rounded understanding of the figure and the importance of Antonio, a famous composer and performer of songs such as “No dudara”, “Siete vidas” and “Alba” (which happened to be dedicated to his daughter). He also tried his hand at some cinematic ventures, such as acting in titles like Pals by Eloy de la Iglesia in 1982 (his acting debut), together with his sister Rosario Flores, alongside whom he also worked on Carlos Serrano’s Cal five years later.
In Flores para Antonio, Alba Flores rummages around in her father’s keepsake boxes, listens to his rehearsal tapes, learns his songs and takes part in the first concert held in his honour.[收起部分]
